CMC Fire Stopping were appointed as the specialist contractor responsible for the complete Fire Stopping package for the global beauty retailer, Sephora, as part of their flagship fit -out at Liverpool ONE – one of the UK’s leading retail destinations.
This high profile project was delivered in two key phases: Phase 1- Back of House and Phase 2 – Retail Area, with each requiring strict compliance to UK fire safety regulations, high levels of coordination with other trades and a flexible approach to scheduling within a live construction environment.

CMC Firestopping provided a full-spectrum passive fire protection service across both phases, including:
- Installation of fire-rated barriers and penetration seals to protect service voids and maintain compartmentation.
- Compliance with BS 476 and EN 1366 standards, ensuring all fire stopping systems met the required fire resistance performance criteria.
- Detailed reporting and certification, tracked via our digital field management system to guarantee full traceability for the client and main contractor.
- Coordination with other subcontractors during critical fit-out stages to ensure zero delays and seamless delivery.
